Drama Recap: Vanila Coklat Ep. 3

Awh... The devastated Zara decided to take a breather at the Hospital's lounge after Amir made a promise to his father that he will marry Zara. While being there, she observed a pregnant lady with her two children. She was like "Ya Allah, dah la mengandung, kiri kanan lagi. Mana suami dia?" So she ended up generalising on how most husbands would be kind of irresponsible after marriage. Dear Zara, I thought you're smart enough that you'd know there could probably be 1001 legitimate reasons on why the lady's husband was not there and not to generalise? She was actually imagining herself in such a situation, given her view on how bad Amir as a person is. She didn't want to end up being pregnant with children at such a young age, alone whereas Amir the irresponsible husband is nowhere to be seen. lol.

Amir came up to her as it turned out she asked to meet him outside of the ward. She straightforwardly told Amir she would never agree to do what Amir has promised his father. Amir (with his lame come back) mentioned that should she not be there in the ward too, his father would surely asked him to marry another person, not her. Hahaha. Mamat Poyo. Amir was being greatly blamed by Zara for making such a promise with his father and that she was unwillingly dragged into the mess too. Zara ended the conversation by making it clear Amir has to make the wedding stop by hook or by crook.

Kamal went on searching for Zara in the college because she was not at the classes and she didn't answer her phone. Apparently Zara planned on being rebellious, by skipping classes. lololol. That is so rebellious. Zara wanted to make it clear to her parents that she was protesting against the marriage by not going to classes. But the parents were not affected, even a bit.

Amir took Liana to the hospital so she could pay his father a visit. But by bringing her when he's about to be discharged is a bit too late, no Amir? haha. The mother was still not fond of her and when his father opened up his mouth about wanting to meet Dr. Ungku Musa, Amir quickly brushed it off and took Liana away. Amir's mother felt something fishy about his father's cheerful expression and it was then she knew that her husband was just acting all this while.

Meanwhile Zara overheard her parents' discussion in the kitchen that the wedding is to be set sooner. Alahai kesiannya. Amir was being told that his wedding will be held in the next two weeks by way of sms, sent by his father. His friend thought he was freaking out because of the exam date. hahaha.

While going out (shopping for the wedding, I guess?), Zara's wound was being rubbed with salt as both mothers were talking excitedly about their future grandchildren and they even asked her how many children she wishes to have, whether it's a girl or boy that she'd prefer. Nightmare I tell you. Nightmare. lolol.

When Kamal was confronting Zara and questioning her about her MIA-ing the other day, someone was spying on and took photos of them together. Her photos with Kamal were sent straight to her door and her parents demanded an explanation from her. Zara explained truthfully and lucky her parents accept such explanation well. Who's the one spying on them? Yes you're right it's none other than Amir. lol I guess he's trying his best to make sure the wedding will be cancelled, but he wanted to make sure that it's not him who'd cause that to happen.

Amir just can't help but to tease Zara whenever she's near him. He happened to see her in a cafe, deep in thought and he didn't want to miss out the fun of making the hot tempered Zara angry. He whispered (sexily, lmao) "Hai sayang, bakal isteriku~" into her ears and that startled her. He went on teasing her by asking her to wear sexy lingerie for their first wedding night and wanting to know his soon to be father-in-law's full name so he could say / lafaz akad nikah in one shot. Before he left, he kinda poked Zara's shoulder in a very cute gesture. Awwwhhh. I know it is meant to drive Zara crazy (in a bad way) but I'm afraid it was me who might be driven into craziness. I might go crazy for this guy if he ever exist in real life. I mean, who wouldn't? Good looking, mischievous, adorably playboy-ing. Okay I'm not making any sense, I know. lolol.

At this juncture I can't help but to notice that Amir was no longer expressly opposing the marriage. It seems like he would like to just go with the flow. Amir rela. Hahaha.

Zara was stressing herself over her group's mock trial exam in the class. She was blaming her two friends because the other students didn't want to join their group (well girl , you better think twice about that matter. Are you sure it's them? Or was it because of you, Her Royal Lioness?) and they can't make it if there's only three of them in the group (I have a feeling later in the future episodes there will be scenes of Amir helping her and friends with their mock trial? Who knows, right? :D). Amir, who just couldn't stop pestering Zara chose a wrong time and this time she had enough of it. Amir was greatly scolded by Her Royal Lioness and that successfully shut him up. lololol. Then Zara met Kamal who desperately wanting Zara's attention. Enough said. (I'm not really fond of Kamal the attention seeker. sorry D:)

On one fine day, Zara and Amir were supposed to have their pre-wedding photo shoot. (lolol at their parents and the way they are treating this forced marriage as an ordinary one. Yes, couples who love each other would love to have those pre-wedding photo shoots but for Zara and Amir who loathed each other? They probably beg to differ). Amir was donning a dark chocolate shirt and I guess he told Zara about that but she turned up wearing all white just because she liked that colour. Hahahahahaha. Nice...! Their journey to the photo shoot was filled with ~lovers~ spat and one ridiculing the other. So imagine the photo shoot itself. It was rather comical and far far away from romantic. But the fangirl in me was like "Oh my so cute and fluffy this two even though they bicker they are still kyoott" lmao.

Zara went home ranting to her mother about Amir and everytime she said about Amir's trait that she hates, her mother's reply was "sesuai~" hahaha. I love you, Mama Zara! As opposed to Zara, Amir went back home and start editing their pre-wedding photos. Awwh :')

The next day which I assume Zara has woken up on the wrong side of the bed, she picked up a fight with Liana. Actually she was standing up for a nerdy boy who was just being ridiculed for being poor by Liana but then again, in my opinion, she kinda went too far by ridiculing Liana , her friends and the course that they took. Girl... You've got to learn how to stand up for people and being classy at the same time. I mean, there is nothing wrong taking up other courses which you didn't.  /shrugs. So this is why her mom was afraid that she could be santau-ed by people. heh :/ When Amir passed by, Liana kinda tattletale the matter to him and Amir chose to be on a neutral side. Hah. Good one, boy! And I shall skip the parts where it's for Childish Amir vs Childish Zara bicker #31246328 lol.

Back home Amir was seen trying to approach his father but being rather contemplative about it. The father could sense his contemplation (and probably thought he was trying to bring up the marriage argument again) so he faked a few cough. Aduhhhh Dato' Ahmad... Concerned Amir quickly asked his father whether he's okay. It was later when Dato' Ahmad got to know that Amir was actually trying to ask for some money to buy gadgets as Datin Dalila confiscated his credit cards. That was why he was kind of nervous. And it's not because he wanted to talk about the marriage. Haha.

As usual, Zara got mad when Kamal trying to have a conversation on love, marriage and future with her. She looked completely irritated with him. I don't know, I'm supposed to sympathise with him but then again I can't bring myself to. D: It could probably be because I think Kamal knew it very clear that his relationship with Zara was nothing more than close friend but then again he still wanted to pursue her until she cave in. Duh, dude you got friend-zoned since the beginning. Wake up!

...And the one ridiculing other people for being not rich is actually not rich herself. Liana has been lying to other people that she came from a rich family which is totally untrue. :/

Both Amir's and Zara's mothers went out shopping for the engagement rings and wedding bands, with the  I couldn't care less Amir in tow. They've been advising him that he needed to know Zara's ring size so it could be easier for him to buy birthday or anniversary gifts for her later on. Haha.

Depressed Zara was thinking whether or not to tell Kamal about the forced marriage between her andd Amir. She met him, and told him that she was having such a huuuuge problem and that
